Basic Christian Communities
are smaller groups of parishioners who meet regularly to discuss the Gospel, to
pray and praise God and to offer members friendship and support. These groups
also serve the broader parish community by initiating projects and offering
administration skills. There are two such groups in the parish KNK (Katawan Ni Christo) and the Two
Hearts group.
Members of the Carpenter's
Shop invite all men of the parish to join them for a shared breakfast and
fellowship every Saturday morning at the Community Centre from 7:30am to
9:00am.
The Tuesday Morning Tea Group
meet every Tuesday in the meeting room off the Church hall from 9:30am to 11:00am.
It is open to all and is designed for people who wish to chat and enjoy each
others’ company.
During the year the parish
conducts several "garage sales" of second hand goods as a fundraiser
for the parish. Donations of quality second hand goods are always welcome.

The Knights of the Southern
Cross are an Order of Catholic laymen with a Catholic
family base, who participate in the mission of the Church. The Order is an
Australia-wide organisation and is affiliated with like
orders around the globe in the
St Peter's Primary School
Parents and Friends meet regularly and work diligently to support the school in
its endeavours. The committee meet
monthly on a Tuesday evening.
The Womens'
Auxiliary are active in providing hospitality and service at funerals and a
bevy of parish functions.
The Playgroup is open every
Monday and Friday at
The St Vincent de Paul
Society assists needy people in a variety of ways. The committee meets twice a
month and deals with families on a one to one basis.
