The 'Children's Sacramental Program' amalgamates 'The Government School's Ministry' and 'The Rite of Christian Initiation of Children' (RCIC), into one course and offers parents, who have children between the ages of 6-15 years, the opportunity to receive instruction for the reception of the Catholic sacraments of:
The program runs on Sundays for the duration of the school year. Since the course material is carefully tailored to meet the learning requirements of your child, prior application is essential. For further enquiries please ring the Parish Office on 9749 4300.
The RCIA is a course for adults, (16 years and above);
The course is divided into four stages, and runs from August until May the following year. You shall receive catechetical instruction in the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Catholic faith and the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church.
The course culminates with the celebration of the sacrements of initiation, namely Baptism, Holy Communion, Reconciliation and Confrimation, at the Vigil Mass on Easter Saturday.
