Baptisms

Baptism welcomes a child into the life of the Church and the love of God. Parents wishing to baptise their child are asked to attend a Baptism Preparation Meeting beforehand, where you'll be guided through what to expect and how to prepare for the day.

Requirements and preparation

Attend a Baptism Preparation Meeting before booking a date Bring a copy of your child's birth certificate Choose at least one godparent who is a confirmed, practising Catholic Allow at least 4–6 weeks before your preferred baptism date

Weddings

Couples who'd like to celebrate the sacrament of Marriage at St Peter Apostle Mission Parish we will guide you through the preparation process and help plan a ceremony

Requirements and preparation

Contact the parish office at least six months before your preferred date Complete an Archdiocese-approved marriage preparation course Provide a baptism certificate (for Catholic parties) and any required civil documentation Meet with the parish priest to plan your ceremony and readings

Children's Sacramental Program

First Communion and Confirmation, and is especially designed for children attending non-Catholic schools. It runs alongside our Children's Liturgy, held on the first and third Sunday of each month at the 10:30am Mass.

Key dates and requirements

Re-enrol each year, even if your child attended the program previously Provide a copy of your child's Baptism Certificate at enrolment Attend required parent information sessions Commit to weekly classes and Children's Liturgy attendance
