How We Help

Weekly Food Support

Each week, St. Peter’s Circle of Hope provides families with:
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
- Milk and eggs
- Frozen foods
- Pantry staples
- Bread and essential grocery items

This assistance helps reduce financial pressure, allowing families to redirect limited funds toward rent, medicines, utilities and other essential expenses.

A Supportive Community

St. Peter’s Circle of Hope is more than a food program.
It is a welcoming space where families find:
- Friendly smiles
- Compassionate listening
- Encouragement
- A sense of belonging

We serve anyone in our community experiencing hardship, regardless of background or circumstance.
Stories of Hope

Tash’s Experience

“I have had an amazing experience — kind and caring people.”

Tash receives weekly groceries and has even received home delivery when she was unable to attend in person.

“You don’t realise how many beautiful people there are in the world who put their time into helping others. It gives me faith in the community.”

Angela’s Story

“It has helped reduce the pressure of worrying about buying groceries, which helps us reserve money for bills.”

Angela visits weekly and shared:

“It has made me feel that I’m not alone and that it’s okay to accept help sometimes. It has also inspired me to give back one day when I’m back on my feet.”

Christmas Celebration – Bringing Joy & Hope

Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, over 80 guests attended our St. Peter’s Circle of
Hope Christmas Dinner.
- Families enjoyed:
- Christmas carols
- A visit from Santa
- Gifts for children
- Special hampers

It was a beautiful reminder that hope shines brightest when a community comes together.
